In this contemporary diverse, globalized world, critically perceiving and understanding fundamental yet complex concepts such as identity and culture is essential to establishing educational practices that can be useful across different groups and contexts. Educators need to consider the complexities of identity and culture to understand them as multifaceted constructions and recognize their impact on themselves and their students' cultural identities and contemporary societies. This course aims to enable educators to create a culturally informed learning environment where all the parties can consciously engage in a respectful and responsive learning process.
