Course description:

This course will focus on contemporary approaches to assessment of clients who encountered traumatic experience or went through crisis situation. Assessment will be directed to individuals. Families and groups. Major areas include: currently known knowledge about trauma; the effects and associated conditions of various forms of violence and trauma; neurobiology of trauma, and differences between children and adults in clinical features. DSMV criteria of diagnosis objective and  subjective methods of assessment , structured and non-structures approaches of assessments of trauma and crisis in adults and children will be tackled and practiced with students in integration with residency course.
